Shedding
Dogs naturally lose old or damaged hair by shedding. Although shedding is a normal process for dogs, the amount and frequency of hair that is shed often depends upon their health and breed type. It can also depend on the season-many dogs develop thick coats in the winter that are then shed in the spring. Dogs who are always kept indoors, however, are prone to smaller fluctuations in coat thickness and tend to shed fairly evenly all year.

Closing time for the salon

Dear Pet Parents,

As you may or may not know,  I have a late pickup policy.  Its is clearly posted in the lobby.  I have tried to be very understanding over the years about not charging late fees when picking up after our closing times. We all have problems, and at times, we get delayed, etc. However, late pick ups are becoming more frequent.  I am not a kennel.    Effective immediately,  I will be charging a late fee of $10.00 for every 15 minutes you are late.
As a reminder our business hours are:
Monday-Saturday 8:30 till 3
Sunday                        9 till 3
Thanks you for your understanding
Crystal

Valentine’s Day Safety

Valentine’s Day can be as much fun for pets as it is for humans if dangerous foods, flora and other items are kept out of paws’ reach. Each year our poison control experts see a rise in cases around February 14, many involving chocolate and lilies, a flower that’s potentially fatal to cats. So please heed our experts’ advice-don’t leave the goodies lying around on Lover’s Day.

  Greetings!

Valentine’s Day is coming up quick! Be sure to get your pets groomed so they look beautiful for their special someone! Grooming appointments are available 7 days a week from 8:30-3, just call to schedule your appointment, (619)449-3388. We also offer cat boarding and pet sitting, call for more information.
